(Ooops I totally judged a book by its cover there!) But when a friend convinced me of it's quality storyline, I gave it a go and was immediately bought over! I wasn't sure of the storyline involving a witch, neither was I a fan of the illustration. Room on the Broom wasn't a story on my booklist for our little boy, to be perfectly honest.
